Tonight my sister phone's me up and says:
"A guy has just clipped the back of my car and I spinned off the road."

so naturally me and my family go to get her. the micra was sitting in a ditch with the fence wire through the front of the car. It cut through he grill bit at the front and into the engine.

My question to you people is:

If the car is a write off, how much will she get for it?

Car details:

Make: Nissan
Model: Micra 1.0 GX 3dr hatchback
Year: 1997 P

so How much?

See hear...

This is Parkers view on what it'd cost you to replace it.

So if you half it, take out the piss-take tax and then some for the staff-room biccy fund, you might be somewhere near the figure... :D

When my old car was written off, they gave me a shit load more than Parkers. They said that most insurance pay outs were worked out by using the Glasses(sp?) guide...

Good luck...:)

Glasses is the industry guide - not parkers, as I think that one is aimed at the private buyer.

I personally think all the prices guides are not too be relied upon heavily, the best way to get a price is do a search on Autotrader for the same spec car within a small radius.

That should be a good indication.

Just my 2 pence... :)
