A wise choice. I loved my sierra. It was so easy to get sideways. :D :D :D

Seriously!!!
How about the old Grandas, practicly the same!
Actually, tbh, you see too many of them aroundm but why a Sierra ?
RWD, and pisses off Mondeos, Vectras and Focus's and their rep drivers
IMHO Sierras are one of the best Fords for driving and for the money you cant get anything better really
Granadas are too big and heavy, also the only one worth having is the cossie
what you driving to get to derby
not the escort
nah going in my other halfs Fiesta 1.25 ;)
Bugger
Got their, car looked very clean and straight but the guy had brought it back from the MOT (which it passed) and now it wouldnt start  If they shorted out the starter it fired up but nothing on the key. They then proceded to rip out all the ign switch and the relays under the dash to no avail. They showed me it running by doing the starter trick and it sounded like a train  one of the cams had a serious knock.
So i walked
The quest continues
gutted :(
Was it mis-advertised??

Sooooo Whats wrong with Derby then??? What area was it?
Dave: Yes and no, was advertised with 12 months MOT but they hadnt even done it when i phoned but it passed and they said if it didnt they would sort it so technically it did have 12 months MOT, and the starting problem only happened yesterday as i got there
Am thinking about getting a 1.8 now as there are lots more of those about but i do prefer the DOHC :(
ZX: I dont believe i said there was anything wrong with Derby apart from it being 3hrs away. It was in Ikleston (i think)
What were you looking at paying, if i can be nosey?
Yes you can :p was hopeing to spend not more than £500
