Read topic "Athens sucks". I just went there a while ago. Though the vacation islands are a lot better, I've been told. Greece is quite a big country, so I guess there's also places that don't suck. ;)

Went to Rhodes about 18 months ago and it was good. Cheap beer (about £1 a pint) and food. Dont know now since Euro but cant have made that much difference surely.

i went to Rhodes on 30th April this year, Had a great time there the season kicks off at the end of May, so it was a bit quiet when i was there. Get yourself to Faleraki. the Main Pubbin/Clubbin area of the island:thumbs: :thumbs:

it depends what you want.
went a few years back and stayed on the Vuoleymeni (sp??? Voo-lee-men-yE) penninsular - you do need to drive tho.
Spectacular scenery, sea, sky, wow. Athens was cool - on a day trip...
