Hi guys,

Just thought i would let you all know there is a rolling road day coming up and im going to finally put the car on the rollers :ghey:

If anyone is interested there is some more info below taken from the link posted.

After the sucess of previous RR Days, the next RR Day will again be on a Sunday. We will also be taking deposits again to secure a run, as people who don't turn up prevent others from running. All info regarding the day is posted below:

What you get:
2 back to back power runs on GotBoost's Dastek Digital Spec Rolling Road. You will also receive printouts measuring both power and torque for each run.

What it costs:
Only £25 for SW-CC Club Members (£30 for non-members), normally £45+VAT.

We do at least 3 RR Days a year, and with SW-CC Club Members saving £5 a time, our £10 a year membership fee is a no brainer. Click Here to join the club NOW (online or by post).

How to confirm your place:
Places are limited, but you can secure yours NOW with a £10 deposit via PayPal below, by post (details below) or to a Club Rep / Staff member. Confirmed places will be posted below asap.

What time do you need to be there:
SW-CC RR Days are a great opportunity to meet up and most people come for the day, but if you can't as a general guide the first car will be on the rollers 9:00am.

Well fingers crossed it's going to be the completion of this phase of mods and depending on the outcome could be the completion of engine modifications too :)

Im looking to have the car setup before hand and have an early run with logging then a tweak and a final run late afternoon :)

Need to make sure all is cool with my mapper though :wack:

I cant see them going for an inter club thing at this late stage to honest Paul :no: but if you would like to organise another one later on then im sure we could sort you out :nod:

Mission complete !

Left at 6:00 this morning and only now getting in :(

Bit wound up at the moment after the 4 hour trek home lol

I had to call into Lemington first thing to collect the FC Data logger then off down to see my mate in Cambridge:wack:

It didn't go according to plan as we had a complete mare getting the laptop to talk to the Com's but after a load of dicking about we Finally made it work (have no idea what the issue was though)
By the time it all started coming together it was raining and then the light failed us too.

I wanted to get home and he needed to pack as he is off to America for a month at 11:00 lol

I only managed to get 1.3 bar out of it as we have a few issues with the actuator and base pressure, but that's something i can work on over the next few weeks.

On the up side the engine has a clean bill of health and there is nothing to worry about.

Spotted a few 200's on my travels too lol

Yep,thats what i'm hoping! I de chipped it this week for a service! and put it back on today! Its vastly noticeable. i got 50mpg and no smoke without it :D
Although couldn't light up the tyres in 3rd either :wack:

I am missing a few psi of boost due to not being able to fit my overlay pulley, so I am hoping for approx 175bhp and similar torque which is plenty fun with the diff I have and no lag :)

This is my concern chris, its a cheap ebay one that I had new in a box but was sat about for years and..... there is a tiny bend in the bottom of the cooler.... Mrs driving... be fecking careful over bumps... no notice paid!!!!

Guys - I have had a number of complaints from the security after the last dyno day, apparantly there were people 'driving fast and handbraking' around the back end of the estate, and also 'drifting' on there way out of the estate.

Please refrain from these activities until you are fully off the estate, if i continue to recieve complaints then i wont get my lease renewed!!

Anyone care to own up ?

Just be nice to know if it was so i can stop hunting the sw-cc members down lol

It was me that the stuck up his own arse security guy was complainining about :nod: Apparently he told me to slow down BOTH times I entered the estate on the only time I entered :rolleyes:

He quite proudly alerted me to the fact that he was empowered to ban me from the entire estate :nod: And I laughed at him :nod:

@ GotBoost , I had one justified complaint about my driving on the day and that was parking too close to the enfield dealers front door , It was rectified within 2 minutes and 20 minutes later I left following a good convo re classic bikes , my ex boss holding a manx classic lap record blah blah . The enfield man will remember me :nod:

As far as drifting is concerned yeah right , 3.5 ton lwb high roof 2.4 transit diesel with 4 virtually brand new ultralites in the back :nod: I do it all the time :rolleyes:

If you want a complaint written about the guard that has deterred me from ever going back to a site that you pay good money to rent I will be more than happy to oblige :nod:

defo wasn't me or craig. As much as the thought of leaving the place sideways did sound good in my head not really right to do it to and from any sort of event :)

however there were some very nice roundabouts by mcarthur glen ;)

My family used to have a iceream parlour and used to sell ice cream on the beach back in the day. used to have a cafe in morriston also and joe's icecream wanted to buy the recipe off my great nan but when she died we stopped making the icecream and the recipe is in my nans will and won;t give it too us before she dies.
