well i think it must have been more sinister, i mean it wud take about 50 years to build one i recon plus the fact that the life span of people in england was about 40 years in about the year 1000 granted not the best living conditions but it cudn't have been much longer for the egyptians that long ago i.e. couple of hunred years BC so as soon as a new pharao was born then they'd start building his pyramid i.e. his tomb thats a bit gay really then isn't it, it wud be like as soons as ur born ur grave has been started to been dug out for u.

Man made for sure, but the myan one that is on it's side is a bit confusing, I mean how the fukc do you knock over a pyramid. plus all the pyramids built accross the world all fall into some kind of pattern, cant remember exactly what but when I saw it I remember thinking it was to close for just a coinsidence.:eek: :eek:
If man can build skyscrapers, bunkers under mountains, tunnels under the sea etc. I'm sure piling a few stones on top of each other isn't that hard. The biggest misconception of history is that people think that things where primitve back then :) the materials maybe the methods no. We still use the same methods today.

I agree, some of the methods and tools they used were amazing, full on engineers. there's a temple in greece that was built with it's sides sloping outwards to counter act the opticle illuision of straight pillers looking like there sloping thus looking like theyre straight when you approached the temple.

They were not slaves ..... the unskilled workers were bought in from neigboring villages and only worked on the Piramid for a few months at a time before returning to there villages ... alot like National service I guess ... or School.
The skilled workers all worked for the main dude through choice, lived within the grounds and bought there children up to have the same skills.
Motivation was great as leaders pitted there team against other teams to see who was the best .... no need for whips or the likes.
The main driving force was everyone believed in what they were doing and were honoured to be doing it.
Well this is what I learnt watching Olympic Airlines videos .... could be wrong I suppose :confused:

Aliens ..... is the only real answer ..... supreme beings with the technology to build interstella travel ... come all the way to earth and build a pyramid :rolleyes: ....... hmmmm .......... wouldnt a little data transmitter beacon be simpler and more useful.
Those theories remind me of the pap sci fi movies where people fly around the universe in big spaceships ... but live in caves with candle like torches and fight semi clad with swords ........... *cough* bolox

I dont know whether this is true or not, but I have heard that the Egyptians knew the distance between the stars... dont ask me how they did it, coz I dont know...
Mind you I think that we humans are aliens to this planet.....
Look at the history of the planet (our species) at the beginning, the basic man etc.... if you line up all the skulls there is a huge gap between Neanderthal and "us".... as if there are more types of skull waiting to be found.... why havent we found any? Because there aint none... Basically... Aliens landed on this planet, killed off the "REAL" owners and made it there/our home.
You name me another species on this planet that makes a home in an area... uses up all the resources for that area and then moves on.... I cant think of another one.....
As Mr Smith would put it... We are a virus to this planet!

We may well act virus like ... but that hardly makes us an alien species ... after all, there a thousands of strands of virus on this planet ... are they all aliens as well ?? ........ so we share a few commonalities with the infuenza virus . big deal ..... thanks to that virus, we have carved ahead of the rest of this planet in terms of so called "acheivement" and are now capable of reason and belief.
There is not a single shred of credible evidence that we arived from a flying saucer, piloted by humanoids with a fixation for skimpy latex outfits ........????
I suppose ancient aliens could have landed ... decided to live in caves and fight with spears ........ and draw terible terible cave paintings on walls ...... they managed space flight ..... but the best they could draw was a stick man killing a stick buffalo on a cave wall ???? ......... nah !!!
And as for the theory, of perhaps they crash landed deep in the sea, survived and managed to survive technology-less, pro-create and spawn their children across this world ?? .......... what like none of them could pass on a story or speach and basic writting skills to there children ????.

whats wrong with the alien theory? you have many points at which alien stuff cud have influensed our evolution
1 the original oemeba of our planet, that cud well have come from a comet
2 some other virus/particle organic tyope thingy cud have landed at any point and proababaly did many times which influensed our evolution e.g. a new flu type virus cud have come down to effect our posture, or more scientific the way our spinal column devlops we CUD have been straight standing apes/moneky s years ago and then some weird flu or somethign may have made us hunch our backs like the primates. and we eventually grew out of it. or you have the evidience of humans once having a tail e.g. the tail bone. an alien disease may have made it fall off and as trend thru genetics all the new breed didn't have tails etc. most of the genetic strains wud prolly be thrown into our planet via some sun in another system goign super nova and send ing rock fragments thosands of light years accross scape into our atmosphere this is where the term children of the stars come form

same as above with the second point but more scientific lab creation type thing, they "injected" so to speak our planet at different intervals in time with different genetic things to alter our evolution
very plausable ideas me thinks.
with the science lab theory, that wud back up a "god" type religion, the creator our creator. whose to say that an alien cud at will fire a photon torpeodo or what ever at a sun to start about a new solar system to play with, since they destroyed the existing one, they wud proabably have the means to effect the way the new solar system wud delevop example of dumping super heavy elements into space neer by where they just blew up a solar system. this super heavby element e.g. uraniaum wud effect the entire gravitioanl field, and efects thereof of the space dust already there. which wud mean bigger planets here smaller ones there etc. then all the need to do is plant what ever genteic thing they want and then they have a new project. so they are the creators of our sun moon sky at night and of us. which more than likely wud not have taken 7 days but then u have things like exageration and gossip that takes play in the passing down the generations of stories etc.
told most of that to a johva witness and he cudn't really argue we haven't had any witnesses back since!
