urgent help please

just finshed fitted my fmic but thought while i was there id let you hear what the sound my car is making. i think ive ****ed the gearbox up from forgetting to put the small spacer between the flywheel and the block when doing the engine change.i think my shaft in the gearbox has gone with other things why ive ordered up one.
whats your thoughts?

have u taken it to bits and put it in the spacer in could just be vibration down the shaft ( that sounds way too sexual for my liking lol)

mate get underneath her and listen there where the gearbox is once uve put it back how its supposed to be ul soon know if the gearbox is ****ed they make a horrid noise

it was fine for the first five mins or so then it started. i think it is the gearbox cause when i try and change gear it makes the worse screaming crunch sound ever lol but i think its vibrating through the engine. :( i can feel it through the gear stick.
and yeah i took the box of. clutch and flywheel put me spacer in and bolted it all back up again :( hope its the box then i can finally drive the bastard lol

Hard to hear anything specific in the vid bud, as it just sounds like extra grunt noise from the exhaust on rev.

Also, that a baileys dumper? At the end did it dump at no load revving? Seen something move in it. Come on man, dont be the guy who makes loads of noise even when he isnt going very fast, there is a Starlet on my road, it makes a high pitched squeek everytime he changes gear, even when doing 10mph. :( You get respect from the chavs, buts laughed at by the true owners.

From personal experience with these boxs, my 1st and 2nd was shagged, so mine used to make a whine, like the reverse in a newer car but going forward. Also had a worn clutch release bearing, so on idle with the clutch up I would get a very whoosing noise, kinda grinding.

Replaced box and now my clutch is slipping after a few too many kicks, now I get a knocking from the box when pulling away hard, or pulling away normal on a hill, not a clue why.

Also get a grind when reversing, but its more of a chuh chuh chuh noise speeding up the faster I reverse....

Any of these noises relate to you? If its just more of a rattle and only on idle, probably just something rattling about unimportant unless its the bottom end, had a mad quick rattle on idle I thought was the box, was a silicone pipe had moved from my coldside so the pipe was gently hitting the bodywork making the rattle that sped up on revs.

I like to live by the rule of if I can hear knocking, as long as its not obviously bottom ends, its probably not a problem.

some of them sounds kinda relate to me, it rattles real bad when i start it up and when i roll and change gear **** it it grind squeels and crunches like hell but the seals in the clutch slave has gone to :(. when i changed the engines it was running fine then suddenly getting worse. one mechanic said it was to give the clutch more clearance to change gear and it will fook the clutch up and member on here said it also stabalises the gearbox shaft i would say i would do a proper recording driving it but dont want to get funny looks from people in the streets.ill do one later when turning the engine on i think i messed the shafts up or something.

also yes it is a bailey it came with it. not anything high pitch and dont really do much at 10mph just maybe a little puf. im trying to save for something a bit more quiter and better sounding heard one on a skyline just sounded like alot of turbo chatter but was a dump so hunting around. i might be twenty next week but dont really drive round with the chavs or even want to be noticed by them wouldnt be on this forum else i would be doing loads of posts and doing gay paint work and bodykits that dont fit etc :D. but thats not me :D
