just checkin my options on my next motor.
Saw a suzuki grand vitara on a forecourt a deep blac/blue colour huge chrome bullbars , very wide , very chunky with these lovely chromey lookin side steps on. Now i`m not a 4 by 4 fan but i have seen one of these lowered onto 18inch alloys so theres no space in the arch and it was quite a gorgeous lookin diffrerent vehicle.
Most vitaras do nothin for me but this is really very nice lookin.
But! i would want to keep it ON road and make sure that when i put my foot down it flies and would like a nice big bore chrome tail pipe etc out the back and the aforementioned loweing onto huge sports car style alloys.
I cant find any information on the net abaout getting any power out of these.
Does anybody have any idea what engine you could drop into one of these or what modifications to the exsiting engine could be done so it has quite a respectable ON rd performance ?

cheers
dave

s14a will be being repossessed soon as i broke up with my wife last year and moved out and it has to go , payments are too large.
At the moment i`m gonna get an s13 but i`m also lookin for somethin different as u can see.
After the s14 theres no way i could drive something plain i`m afraid.
Just lookin at all the options.
I`ve contemplated
Supra mk3
and even importing a180sx or early shape silvia with some lovely deep dish alloys on.But the import costs mount up.
Its just got to be different , somethin special.
