Hi Mazworx. I have just fitted one of your Z32 gearbox conversions (second hand from Figjam) but i need to get hold of a couple of bolts that bolt the gearbox to the adaptor plate. Could you possibly send me the size of them or a price to supply them (i need 3 i think).
Also could you possibly offer some advice. - When i fitted the engine and box together (they were assembled outside the car) when i go to bolt up the gearbox mount it seems as though it is badly twisted and the holes do not line up? I had to use 2 big pry bars to get it to line up but im not happy with that really. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? It is alsmost as though the whole engine and box needs twisting but obviously it fitted ok with the SR20 box??
Thanks
Nathan

Are you talking about this part that doesnt line up?

There should also be dowel pins on the adapter plate itself to line up the transmission bellhousing to the plate.

That should line up no problem I mean the previous person had it on there car correct?
The gearbox bolts are M10x1.5x40. If you cant find those, I have them here so I can probably add it on to a next order or something.

thanks for the info regards the bolts.
I cannot think of anything that would cause it to not line up at all so i will have to get back under the car to check everything. There is pretty much no way to bolt either the adaptor plate or the box together incorrectly and the old SR20 box fitted fine so im really confused.

Hi Guys
If you have a look at the last page of my project thread you can see where the crossmember doesnt line up. If there is anything you can spot that i have got wrong then please comment on the thread and let me know.
Thanks guys

Zak,
From what the pictures show everything looks to be correct. Just make sure the dowel pins on the plate and fully engaged down but dont go to deep (use a press) and just make sure you have it aligned with the transmission. Other than that, everything looks about correct.
