now that ive got me new digi cam can anyone suggest any software for editing, the sort where u can swap heads and childish stuff like that:D :D :D or is there any freebie stuff on the web anywhere

if you're after something free have a look at the 30day trial of paint shop pro from http://www.jasc.com/
If you're after pretty much the best you can get, you need a copy of Photoshop. You really don't want to have to pay for a copy, but there are ways.....

Paintshop Pro for editing, ACDSee is handy for doing contact sheets and thumbnails if you're going to make a web site from your pics.

Fireworks and Photoshop too complex for me:(

JASC PSP is the knackers imhoI've got PSP7 and it is the best stuff I've ever used.
Fireworks is good but doesn't seem to have the same morphing functionality, which is a pity, so i'm running hte two side by side atm lol

one word... - PHOTOSHOP!!!

its what the pros use for print... so its gotta be good... :D and tis what i use...

its just so moe featureful than anything else
