Nah mate. Just install the demo / test version and go to Multiplayer then to List games. Click on the SXOC racing server and play :)

Or failing that, edit the "cfg.txt" file and look for where it currently says "XF GTI" and change to "XR GT TURBO". Just don't go to the car selection screen and it'll let you drive it :)

If you want lots of credits change the track to Skidpad, set the AI skill level to the highest (= more points) and number of AI cars to max (again more points) and just drive round the circle 3 times. The ai cars won't move as there's presumably no ai stuff set up on that track, and you'll get 35ish points each race.

Going off on a tangent, there's some kind of LFS-Editor patcher program that runs alongside the program. You can change parameters of cars (engine size, turbo, horsepower, weight) for a laugh. I suspect if people have identical setups you can play like that against each other.
