It's a reference to max power mobiles and the Midlands RR day in Bromsgrove that was covered in Fast Car.

A matter of some considerable embarrasment to some of us who were there :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

Interestingly though Ant who had is picture in the mag is now something of a local hero and well chuffed :D :notworthy

Hamish Lindsey Motorsport. Do a search in Midlands meets and you'll soon find it.

There were mixed opinions as to how accurate there equipment was though.

I actually bought the mag the other day, and my pic is miniscule - infact, you wouldn't know it was me :D :D :D I noticed a big pic of Wak though on the last page!!! :D

Oh I wouldn't worry about that Ant. Your adoring fans in the CorsaBoy community will know it's you no problem. Before you know it they'll be on your doorstep asking for bodystyling and sticker advice

That guy with the Volvo...

DON'T get me started, please, he was a total :tosser:

Did anyone actually hang around to see what he got when they put it on the rollers at the end?

BTW, I apologise for my quote that they've printed - "200's are cheap, fast, and easily tuneable" - I hope I don't cause a mass N*vaboy purchasing of SXs

Ho hum :D

Because from what I saw, it wasn't even making as much power as my car, but I didn't wait around for their 'professional interpretation' ( ) of the results.

Would have been nice to say to him afterwards 'I thought you said it was 550bhp?' :D

JB

I should imagine that thing was producing so much power it broke the rollers  :tosser:

their website says the rollers are a 250 bhp jobbie

is that why people reckon they were naff results?

JB

NO please let's not get into that again. If you want to know what all the fuss was about then search the midlands forum. It's all there, ad nauseum
