im looking into upgrading the brake kit on the 180 but im a little confused on what it is exactly i should be shopping for?

was thinking of going Ksport as a starting point and im pritty sure but not 100% sure that i should be buying the s13 kit (as in for the CA right?)

my only other question is would the KSport 304mm front 6 pot brake kit fit under 16" super advans (et ect will follow as soon as i get a min to check it!)

thanks guys

firstly 6 pots won't fit under 16'' rims & may struggle under some 17'' depending on design. 18'' is pretty much a must.

As for brake options they are pretty endless. you can simply buy a set of standard s14/s15 front (think rears are the same) discs & calipers for a straight forward bolt off bolt on upgrade. DBpower do a number of brake upgrade kits.

Brembos off a skyline are bolt on were as brembos off 350z require some adaptation to rear calipers to fit right. ( gold brembo breaks are best on 350z & GTR R34).

After this there are many kits designed for the car from likes of project mu, endless racing, ksport, etc etc or you can go wild & just get brakes off anything you like. I believe someone on here has DB9 brakes & I know evilchap's S15 has merc AMG brakes.

ahh right so i can bin that idea then lol what about the gtr brakes under the 16's my prob is i dont want to ditch the wheels! but i need to stop and after having a 14 for a while i got fed up of the calliper seize they suffer! so that option for me was out the window!

I think that the brakes off a GTS-T or 300ZX might do the job. both will fit under 16'' rims and I believe they are alloy instead of cast so lighter. don't think they suffer siezing as much either but can't be sure.

I would post up in the 200sx motoring section instead of the technical section lad cause it tends to get more of a response

i did think about putting it there but i know many will get confused when refering to the 180 ha ha ill take a look into the th s13 technical and look into how easy it is to fit the 30 brakes without going 5 stud!

What kind of power will you be running or intending to run at a later date? Would you change your wheels?
If your going really big at the front then would it will also be advisable to look at uprating the rears aswell mate.

should be sat quite happily at 350 after a custom map i would think about changing the wheels but not unless i absolutely have to! loking at DB-power and i may have a rizzler packet gap if i use the bigger brake kit he supplys (315mm) says i need 360mm across which i may be able to squeeze
