as some of u know my damson s14a has taken a little trip to the bodyshop for 3 weeks handing over my keys was more difficult than i thought so now im in the world of fiesta shed till shes back but il post up a progress thread on here the bodyshops more than happy to take pics and email me them if any of u lot r interested in seeing
you got any before pics so that we can see the transformation?

ok a development im proper ****ed off basically too the side skirt off today and shes go a serious case of the fecking tin worm so its looking as if ive got £500 of welding that needs to be done so now im mega pissed ffs lol il get some pics sat look like i need a new sill and part of a rear quater

well big thanks to scott aka uncle silvia for letting me cut up his old 200 today never realised getting sills out was so labour intensive and slicing my finger in the process so ive spilled blood now in the aim to get this car sorted i must say though the sills off a jdm 200 are mint not a spot of rust anywhere

yes there a royal c unit to get out the car mate and we was usuing a steel saw u know like the petrol powered ones they use to cut the road and id rather replace as much as possible saves any chance of having this problem in the future basically wat happened is i went bend a bit of metal back that was red hot without thinking pulled my hand away fast and dragged my finger over a razor sharp piece of metal and because it was hot i didnt even get that stinging feeling u get just a sudden puddle of blood and my trainers coverd lol
fair play, whipped my skirts of for the first time the other day and to my suprise no rust :wack: mine was hit else where

Me too :sxoc: Changed my skirts on sunday and not a speck of the dreaded to be seen under the skirts! There are 2 spots on my car that I know of and these will be sorted soon.

nope the rubbers coming out but the rear quaters hes got some uber strong tape shit that pulls the rubber back out the way of itself ****ing hurts putting it on ur arm though rips hair straight out

i wouldnt even bother trying to get them bastardo rear quaters out mate i never knew there was this lifting tape stuff. Till he showed me it basically pulls all the seals out on that window so they can blow it in under them and when u take out the front and rear windows theres not much metal underneath them to paint anyways. An ul only be bunging sealant over it anyways so im just getting mine resealed all the rust has been removed from everywhere jason is a bit of a perfectionist tbh hence mines taking so long

If it was me, I'd go lip spoiler :thumbs: Its your car though.
IMO: stock spoiler is ok but with no/mild kit, lip spoiler works with pretty much everything, BGW you need a mad kit and paint to pull it off and then its only :cool: if its functional.

No havent ordered the wheels yet mate, turbo is on its way tho and manifold should be this week ir early next week! hopefully make the next meet! Hows yours coming along?
its very much a bare shell now mate, should be back next year tho, just doing the coilovers and completely derusting the bottom, bodywork and respray :)

carbon wise im still deciding i got the boot and bonnet painted ne ways so i have an alternative and its taken so long tegs as i had rust // then he had swine flu// then he had to sort out the company finances buying the other partner out and then finally not being able to get the paint i bloody wanted but its all going good now shud have in back first week of jan when the mot is done
