Its a AGV Rossi Replica and the cheepest I've found it so far is £250!

What happened is an iron was left on touching the helmet near the visor and its metled some of the plastic. The affected area is about 1.5" long and goes about 3mm deep. The problem is that it may have damaged the protective material that saves lives (i think it may be compressed, expanded polystyrene if that makes any sense. Will it still be safe to use or will it break like an egg when it may be needed?
