180sx Diff

Im putting my drift car on the road and dont want the welded diff anymore.

What diffs can I use?

I.e. s15 diff etc?

I dont want a 1.5/2 way diff etc.

Also where can I get second hand diffs from as I need it asap?

I think as long as the half shafts have the same bolt pattern it would be ok

on thisw note well kinda what diff is fitted to the 180 stock is it s13 open diff or s13 lsd or is it the s14 lsd?

I looked into this quite a bit. 180sx's came with several different diffs and half shafts depending on age so you need to jack yours up and count the bolts on the shafts.

Basically they put what ever was lying around on. I suppose it all depended on what excess stock they had in the parts bin that month.

Its too much like hard work and you get laughed at when doing 3 point turns.

Why not get a 1.5 Way? They are easier to live with than a Welded one...

I dont mind my welder too much, but as much as I enjoy drifting, I love track driving etc, so what would be best for occasional track, occasional drift and daily use? (asking for it all aint I!)
