Apparently theres been a new speed camera put up in Carlisle.
Anyone care to guess where they've put it?
Outside a school? Accident blackspot?
Go on have a guess....

Unless they've suddenly started putting them in sensible places, it'll be on a dead straight bit of dual carriageway with no turnings where there hasn't been an accident in the last couple of decades.

Near Junction 43 of the M6 FFS!
Don't think there has ever been an accident there. There may have been a couple of cars doing 150+ leptons at 4 in the morning though ;)

do you know if it's North or Southbound?
Is it an obvious one or is it one of them that's right behind a bridge strut:mad:

I go by there quite a lot usually, but i've not seen this one :eek: :)

Northbound I think, Its bright yellow and easily visible though :) :wave:

hasn't that one been up for about 3 weeks? cos I was there about 3 weeks ago, and there was one on the roadworks area (I think)... made me drive slow after that :( ... for at least a few miles :thumbs:

I agree with speed cameras in road works ..... you get so many knobs doing 80mph in a narrowed lane with workmen separated by a row of plastic cones

Besides its fun doing 40mph holding the traffic up, and as the cones stop, booting it back up to silly speeds and watching all those fat suit wearing tossers disapear behind you :D

yep, agree, I was only doing the 50mph any how, cos of the possibility of speed cameras (it was 11.30 at night, and no workmen.)

Must say that it is very funny to keep smack on 30 is there is a nob tailgating, then drop it a gear and leave him in flames :thumbs: whahahaha

lets face it, you drive like a nob in 30/40/50 limits, your gonna get done!!
