Got a copy of the "PalyH" worm this morning which appears to arrive from support@microsoft.com. Anyone else? It seems to be spreading like wildfire so be vigilant

For the record. There is no reason whatsoever that Microsoft would contact anyone off their own back. If you had initiated a support issue, e-mails would come from an individual. There are tons of these flying about.

I've had a couple of viruses recently - both the klez varient.

Both originate from a machine on Blueyonder cable: 82.38.73.177

klez is rife on the Net, mainly due to preview panes in Outlook and Outlook Express and people not using anti-virus programs.

My AV subscription ran out a month ago and then all of a sudden there are tonnes of new viruses:mad:
Mind you I make sure everyone is vigilant with emails, and I use a hardware firewall, so I should be OK until I can be arsed to update my subscription.
