Hi guys and girls. As i missed the last one i thought i would set this one up :)
Was going to go for this weekend but it is a bit short notice, so made it the 22nd instead to maximise the numbers :sxoc: and there dont appear to be any other events on.
Now i hope the weather is good as apart from the 10 days of cracking weather this summer has been ropey at best, so all going well we can spend a day in the sun.
Going by the poll it is 50/50 as to what day is best for everyone so i leave it up to the general concensus as i am available both days (at last)
Will be good to see you all again.

I was going to suggest maybe Saturday 15th as there may be a few extra people about:thumbs:

On a side note I would have suggested the 15th, but alas i am not around due to a BBQ and Soccer Saturday Drinking Game for the 1st game of the new football season.

MOT man said my exhaust was quite rusty but not a fail. I had a look and accidentally solved the problem with a full stainless system (Apex "sensible" twin exit) :)
The back box arrived with a big dent from transit which was annoying but seeing as it is underneath the car now I can't see it so it isn't irritating me as much as it was.
The car is a lot louder now...

LOL, that is a problem when these things accidentally your car ;). Shame about the dent but as long as it isnt detrimental to the running of the exhaust a speed bump will probably have done the same :p
It is just a small dent and I’m sure it won't harm it long term. It's only been on the car since 0930 this morning. it was great fun fitting it in the workshop pit during work hours. Itching to take it for a gentle spin to this evening!

More than welcome sir, the more the merrier :). It is indeed the monkey puzzle pub, just down the road from Chessington World of Adventures.
Sorry that you're not going to be able to make it Roodles, always the next one :)
i'll definitely try as i've not been to one yet, got a club photoshoot and a big brighton meet that day (plus a wedding reception that i haven't told the mrs i can't do :s)
How bad is this, first meet at Surrey Rep and I can`t make it:cry:
I have got to run dyno a load of Hondas and might not finish till 10pm:eek:

I would say that is a pretty good excuse though mate, hopefully a couple will run big powers and make it worthwhile for you :thumbs:.
Like i said when i popped down to SRR to pick up the subframe, i would be up for having the september meet at mine and making it an all day/bbq session if there was interest :)

Me and a mate (Ian in his Elise for those that have met him at previous meets) are going on a drive before the meet on Sat so people are more than welcome to tag along :)

Not at all darren, if the weather was good then you and Ian would show me up in your drop tops :thumbs: as i have A/C that doesnt actually work :wack:.
Ian informs me that the drive will be going around Box Hill and takes usually around an hour so after me getting petrol would have thought we will be on our way by about 1:30ish to aim to get back to the Puzzle of Monkey before 3pm :)

Was a very good meet today, one of the biggest turnouts of both people and SXs that i have seen :)
Good to meet some new faces too, hope you have a good rest of your weekend and see you at the next one :sxoc:

I think the final count was 12 live wasps and 1 dead (possibly), was bloody hilarious, the little bastards.
Will try and get my photos put on here, not sure how good they will be though.
The bar maid lady thanked me for setting the wasps free before we all left. Some of them didn't look too happy though...
