Was at the Super Saturday at Brands a couple of days ago, at post 4a which is on the left side of the track at the bottom of paddock hill bend. Wasn't much action, only two cars (well, the same bloke twice :D) in the gravel and a Caterham nudged into the wall on the way up to Druids, but was good to get closer to the action and actually take part in it in a way.

Anyone else do/done it?

Did a bit more today at the Historics - Old F2, saloons etc. There was a stunning Jag E type lightweight low drag coupe, just like this one

:smitten:

Loads of Elans, Imps, Alfas etc. Sounded fantastic

Some funny little Cooper 500cc things too, methanol powered, 1950s tin cans that the drivers lean over in kind of like a motorbike, so they don't fall out on the corners :wack:

Will be back for the F3/GT cars next week :D
