I HATE decorating

It's great buying a new house, everything is perfect. Then 2 years down the road and its hello to settlement cracks. :mad:

For the last week or so, I have had paint and bits of artex in my eyes, hair, mouth. My hair has been various colours, along with the dog. :rolleyes: The house stinks and is in a mess. And for the last few hours today, I have had my head around the toilets doing the bathrooms. :mad: :cry:

Now I've had a shower and feel much better, but Andy if you come home tonight and start on about me painting around the toilet lid instead of removing it, I swear I'm leaving. :mad:

the other week while Kirsty (Koko) was re-building and plastering walls... I took the oportunity to take her 17" wheels and put on my car... she even made me dinner later on. :notworthy

to be honest though my car does look much better so it was worth it. :thumbs:

when we painted our son's bedroom simon did coat one of one wall..... I did the rest. when it came to glossing round the house.... yep, you guessed it, i did it and when we pulled the carpet off the stairs and decided to paint them..... si pulled the carpet off and did one coat on a few of the steps, and i did the other 2 1/2 coats!!..... saying that though, glossing the house is alot more relaxing than looking after the kids, plus if i do it myself i know the jobs done properly:notworthy :notworthy

You want to take a tip of one of Paul_s13's mate's he painted the inside of his garage by filling a fire extinguisher with paint and letting rip. not good for the carpets though.
