I am a school teacher as many of you know. We have an activities week looming in thenear future and I am responsible for putting on loads of cultural and sporting events.
What I want to do is record a radio show throughout the week and play it over the computer network on friday.
Anybody know how I can go about doing this.
I wondered if it would be possibkle to play the recording and allow people to log into it without having to play the whole file from the beginning.
Cheers

Err sounds complicated...
Can't you just burn it onto CD and have each section as a different track?

windows media encoder may do it although you will have to find someway of getting the sound into the pc from the radio in the first place. Either use a tv/radio capture card or a pocket raidio connected to the sound in on your sound card. It can capture and broadcast live or record and broadcast a file later if required. You may be limited to 4 users at a time though and i dont know about playing only parts of the file, but its handy for a basic video/audio web stream.
Edited to say, its somewhere on micro$ofts site.
