Right my cheque book has got to be in my bedroom somewhere, can any one correctly guess where though? :eek:

helpful hint for the future, always keep your chequebook with your mobile fone so that if u mislay it u can use someone elses fone to fone your fone and then u will find your cheque book with it :D :D :D

That's OK provided you have enough mobiles to leave one with the cheque book, one with the car keys and another with your marbles.:D

I have a sort of walk in wardrobe, though don't imagine it's something posh as it certainly isn't! I'm not going in there as it's got about 6 months worth of unwashed clothes in there, and I don't think anyone who went in there would come out again.

That was one of the first places I thought of and I've already checked both draws and I even checked it hadn't got trapped between the pages!

I found an old cheque book with 2 spare cheque left, but funnily enough I am searching for my insurance docs as I can't figure out why they aren't with the V5! Especially when I got the docs with a letter saying that if you lost them there was a serious administration charge to have them replaced!

I got that a bit wrong. The cheque book will be in the same envleope as the insurance stuff and the MoT, not V5.

When you find it, my passport will probably be in there too. I'll PM my addy. ;)
