GTR  :D
lol, next year. Went for a "proper" test drive last weekend:eek:
Well the 200 decided to drain it battery over night a few weeks ago. So if I get time to sort it I'll be there in it. Otherwise Mondeo I believe! Think I might just walk!:o
for all those wanting to pay for the raf marham track day as found http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=419044
this is probably the best time to do so!
It's definitely cheap for a day on track but I'm going to pass. The last time I went on an airfield, my exhaust and wheels got fcuked from the surface crap :( . It's worth mentioning that for airfield days you really should use a spare set of wheels and preferably a manky exhaust that you don't care about. I learnt the hard way by badly pitting my Nismo wheels and almost new Apexi Evo exhaust
Hope you get the required 10 members signed up Fordy :)

ill come.. and thats as a social... its not 0800 technical helpline,!!
its realy not that bad cluck ive been round it once in 2 different cars and both were fine no damage at all apartfrom my mate deciding he could drift and take out loads of cones and give me a days worth of buffer work on a black car :smash:
martin .... bring your gf along so she can chat to my gf since they know each other.... it stops mine scaring cluck with images of dental dam :D

loll sounds like a good idea.. leave men to talk about important thingss.. like cars... not haircuts!! lol
for trackdays id say go bedford autodrome.. cheapish and fair circuit with plenty of run off for beginners. although cars must be quiet!
I'm guessing it wears the tyres faster. But what does it do to the exhaust??

you usually find on airfield trackdays that the tire wear is vast.. and usually they are kinda bumpy
I'm guessing it wears the tyres faster. But what does it do to the exhaust??my exhaust was pitted in the same way as the wheels. Maybe I was unlucky with the airfield I went on, but it just struck me that they are possibly not as well maintained as a dedicated race track

:annoyed:What did he say when you caught up with him
:annoyed:What did he say when you caught up with him"Ow, please stop hitting me" would be my best guess :D
:annoyed:What did he say when you caught up with him
oh did i...... ever so so sorry ive got bad eye sight you see
 how are these people let on the road :annoyed:
 how are these people let on the road :annoyed:Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, so his bad eye-sight meant that he had to try and flee the scene as quickly as possible knowing full well that he's just whacked another car :indiff:
If he did indeed try and leave without leaving a note, I'd actually report him to the police. I don't give a **** if he's old or in a wheelchair or whatever, he needs a wake up call. Too many people are "too proud" to give up their car even when they are a danger to themselves and those around them.
I think I've mentioned this before but I've had an elderly person open their car door and hit my car before. Whilst I was sat in the car. Twice by the same person, 30 minutes apart :indiff:
well the bodyshop now think ive got a tracker on my car which texts me when ever the car is moved :D that will scare them from thinking about taking my car out for a spin :whip:
i want my car back already and i only dropped it off 20 minutes ago

I might not be able to make this one chaps... I've just had another small operation on my hand... we'll see how comfortable driving is in the next couple of days...
I may not be attending either :(
The last member of the eldest generation of my family has just died and the funeral is this Wednesday. There's now nobody left older than my parents :o
Sorry guys, but I guess you can understand if I won't be in a jovial mood and need to give it a miss this time :o
hello, new to cambridge and ran into this today. my S15 is getting MOT done at the moment but i'll def be at next months meet.
So am I. In the Onevia!
Ill be there about 7.30ish with any luck :)

Looks like we've lost a few of the regulars this month :( I won't be making, I'm not risking bashing my hand, I really don't want another operation on it!!! :(
Sorry to hear this buddy. Hope you okYeah, I'm fine fella. Was actually a surreal experience in the end and I've been struggling to get my head around it. Been chilling at home since 3-ish mulling it over.
I think it might have been leaving the service to the tune of Morcambe and Wise singing "Bring me Sunshine" that has left me so  and :wack: . I just can't get my head around the whole thing and still not sure whether to laugh about it or not :o
It also emerged today that my mum is now the oldest member of that bloodline. That's quite a scary notion to be honest, especially considering there were 3 brothers and 2 sisters in the generation above her :(
i hope everyone that didnt come to the meet for various reason's are all ok and that things get better soon :)
And tonight was a great turn out even with the weather being on and off with rain few hours before hand...
Hope to see everyone at the next monthly meet
Any pics? How many did you get :-)
It wasnt a bad turnout - reminded me of the old meets of 2005ish :)
Need more Nissans - I think Jim, me and Billy were the only ones who turned up in 200's. Althought thats not bad TBH - Ive seen 6 staff members have a meeting with only one 200 present and that was the one they were working on :wack:
Ill definitely try to make it next time round if only to abuse Battye
