View Full Version : Eurocup SEAT Crash Photo's
Here's the shots. Seems the Magazines didn't want to use them.
The Bonus is that you lot get to see them instead :D
Driver was ok, pics are being sent to the team aswell, they seemed to like them when I showed them in the Paddock.

Really sharp nice shots Daz. They're really coming out well now with the new lens and camera body.
:notworthy Great photos
Thanks :D

Cheers Martin, the D300 and 70-200 are a really nice combo.
I've started to understand the histogram now and got into the PP alot more which I think has helped aswell.
I did catch another off but some daft women got in the way.....doh.

Were they good looking ?
If yes put up the pics:D
Hmm I'm not doing much in the way of PP. I just use the Canon software and set the WB, maybe bump up the contrast or saturation slightly.
The histogram is useful, along with the highlight alert.
Have you got anything printed in any mags yet? I got some drag racing shots in a mag last month, oddly its the only magazine I haven't approached, they editor came up to me after a crash to see if I got shots of it.

There wasn't much editing in these actually. Some were given a little crop, others just a slight tweak.
One thing I like about the D300 is the Auto Whitebalance seems to work pretty well.
Not a single photo in print yet, I've got onto some websites but thats it. Can only keep trying. Congrats on getting yours in mags
Cheers mate. The mag's are good at wasting your time though. One last year asked me to write an article on an event, I did all that and then they 'forgot' about including it in the mag, by which time it was too far gone. Thing is they normally have photographer's of their own, or preferred freelancers supplying shots so they turn away other work (but still don't mind receiving it). It certainly seems to be a case of who you know as well in terms of getting a press pass etc.

Tell me about it, been ignored by a few mags. I did get a response from Autosport today about these photo's. They didn't want them but have asked me to send in anything relevant in future, so at least I've got a contact out of it.
I will get something in print lol
