Not sure what to think about this one. A couple of years ago I really tried to hard to get into Online Games as I thought the idea was cool. Obviously Quake and Unreal etc. are good fun but I mean Online games as in Everquest or Anarchy Online (the latter I played for a good 8 months).
The idea behind these types of games is great - huge world shaped by 1000s of people who play in it. In reality these games tend to become pretty tedious - kill 100 baddies to get a "lvl" higher in your characters development which will then allow you to kill 100 very slightly harder baddies to get your next lvl up.
There were some great moments in Anarchy Online - getting your first spaceship, joining a guild - all that geeky crap :), but at the end of the day it all became very repetetive to me which is why I stopped playing.
Every now and again though a new online game will rouse my interest, and today I found this one:
