If I wire the plug backwards and hold a sharpening stone against the spinning blade, will it be sharp ?

It's a electric cylinder mower and an assumption is that I will not sever my fingers.

PML :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Either buy a new blade or get one of those black and decker sharpening thingies and do it with the blade off.

No old lad that won't work.......
If ya need to do it yourself get a file and run along what should be a good edge on the blade.
Then don't forget to do the bottom blade. This is as important.

I use the grinder on the blades on my dad mower but i doubt you'd get a grinder in close enough for the cylinder type blades. You could use a sharpening stone on a drill though. It'd only take you 10 minutes so it's worth the couple of quid for the drill attachment.

you could always take the mower to a sharpening place... or you could use the excuse to bin the gay electric, and buy a petrol mower... put a little K&N on it, turn up the juice, better spark plug lead, a couple of densos, hks twinpower ignition amp... modyfy the exhaust....

be cutting grass in half the time!!
