Can anyone recommed a good place for 200's in Bristol? I've decided that I'm never going to have the time to sort out Cheekee's old car so i'll have to pay to it get it sorted. So appart from ND in Melksham which will cost an arm and a leg where/who's good?

what needs doing on it? I use a garage in Stoke Gifford for my mot's purely because I was reccommended them of the MR2oc. Not use them to do any actual work but they seem to know what they're doing and the owners a rally driver so sure he's capable of working with turbo's.

It has a few issues but the main one is that it won't start. The engine turns over but it just wont ctach and fire up. The injectors work, the fuel pump works, the static timing is ok (can't check the timing as it wont run though), the coils are ok, the plugs are ok so don't know what it might be and don't have the time to find out either.

Other than that the bumper needs re-mounting and it needs an MOT as well.

Don't use Interpants - but you should know that anyway :wack:

Circuit motors at Combe are pretty good, more into old school stuff but a few guys have used them for stuff on their 200's :)

Interpants? Who are they? usually i'd ask Pointblank but he's had a look and can't work it out either. Anyone got a contact for Buffy? I did try pm'ing him and emailing him but got no answer.

Tim means Interpro in Thornbury.

You haven't got the CAS 180 degrees out have you? Tried different ballast resistors (assuming it's a CA)?

FCM (0117 9413232) would be first place id speak to, they seem to know there stuff. They sponsor a few drift cars which are 200's. They work on loads of different jap performance cars as well. They are near Bristol Trade Center by the feeder.

Good luck with the fix

Did think he might have meant them!

IT is indeed an S13 (Cheekee's old car if that means anything to you as it has been off the road a while and he doesn't post much anymore). The CAS wasn't taken out from when it was running so don't think it could be that. But will try it when I eventually get time.

All of the above plus the taking the fuel pump fuse out and he did adjust the CAS but only back and forward a little.

Will give them a ring and see what their costs are like. Normally I'd pay up for ND as I live in Melksham but am saving for a wedding so pennies are a bit tight.

Cheers!:)

You might also try Lee at Archway Autos in Silverthorne Lane 0117 9779846. He does my s14a and has in the past done Ripper's s13. Small outfit, no vast overheads and has always been very straight and honest in his delaings with me. Good luck!

Have you tried removing the fuel pump fuse and turning it over a few times?

Yup but it did nothing to help.

take the cas out and spin it with the ignition on, you should hear the injectors firing, have you done a compression test? does the oil pressure come up when cranked for a few seconds?
also pm'd you last night bud
