Just tried myself, gauges won't turn off. Guessing it's on thr wrong acc, put it on the cable that my stereo says is acc but turns on when I reconnect battery and that's it.

Fed up, pulling it all out now anyone local to Bristol fancy lending me a hand sometime? Can travel to you... Just want them in, they're oil temp and pressure gauges...

Thanks.

try it on the other stereo wire, one's a constant feed, so you don't loose your radio settings etc. the other should only pull power once the ignition us turned on ;)

Iv tried it both ways around and no joy... If I connect just the ground and the live to either cable it just lights up red, if I connect both eitherway it does it's opening beep and sequence and just stays on...

Getting a tad frustrated now.. Anywere else to chop into?

well you can jimmy it in to any live that only turns on when the ignition is on, air vent buttons possibly??

can't remember what I initially tried when I wired some in mine, ended up just running a live straight from the battery and putting a switch for them where the fag lighter is, morked a treat :D

Gav, you the fella with the white 15? Longwell, convoyed with you to Actionday? Played with your drift nitro car?

Or am I thinking wrong person?

Going to have one more go at it tonight, only im going to go the more gentle route, and use a voltmetre so I can see exactly what cable is what instead of just hacking into it, then trying the next one. Now heres a question, wtf settings would I set the meter too?

Yeah thats me, S14.5

I didnt go anywhere near the stereo, ran it off the ign wire from the key start, should be the same. Not sure what to have it set to. Something which will show volts , i would have a guess at DCV20. could try all the settings, sure it aint going to do any harm.

Good luck.
