Hi everyone,
Just a quick question - I bought my 200 nearly two months ago and cancelled my insurance policy for my car that I sold (the policy was about 6 months through and I had paid for it in a lump sum). I took out a new policy with Tesco Insurance for the 200 and at the time of quoting I told them I had 2 years No Claims Discount (even though I was half way through the third year when I cancelled the other policy).
Well I've had my proof of No Claims Discount from my old insurers delivered on Friday and it states I have 3 years NCD - which I wasn't expecting, but nevertheless... Do you think if I phone Tesco Insurance that they'll reduce my premium/alter their paperwork because I have 3 years NCD and not 2 that I originally stated? Reason it's such a big deal is that the difference between 2 and 3 years NCD for a 20 year old like myself is quite considerable and if I could get a discount then I'd definitely be :D :D :D . If they say no way it's not a problem but when it comes to renewal time next year will it mean I only have 3 years NCD where it should really be 4 years??
Sorry if this doesn't make much sense but I need an answer - should I phone Tesco tomorrow and ask politely for a refund :p ?
Cheers,
Jonathan
