Walked past about 7 and saw someone dozing in a chair from afar - thought they were just taking in the peaceful scene!
Then walked past a bit later, heard a huge clatter, and turned round and caught the end of what looked like a very tired man being woken abruptly by something metal losing it's balance nearby! :wack:

This you? Only Damson 14a with white wheels I snapped. Some pictures are slightly blurry, as the sun kept going in and out all day, couldnt get over 250ms shutter at 5+ apature in the shadier times and all you buggers were driving too fast.

im not used to this grip driving , i prefer drifting hence all the over steer and the standard diff is weak,
but glad i could entertain yous doc, ;)

i did keep it on the track tho:nod: which is more then what can be said about you:p

Literally took this picture, watched it go along, it made a massive bang and rolled to a stop around the corner and the marshals red flagged the track...

Spotted it running again later so not too serious, just interested to know what happened?

All of these pictures are resized btw, if you're after a bigger copy I have them in 3888x2592 - resizing to not screw up the flow of the forum for the smaller res people.

*Edit* Ooooh what a failure of mammoth proportions from the lady, one responsibility to record some runs, and she managed to wack the camera on 0.3mp 640x setting.

The only thing this phone does well and it messed it up. xD

I followed him up a few times - he had a 2 way diff, so every time he braked into a corner, the back locked up and started to slide... Every corner was still completely covered in tyre smoke 30s later :wack:

yeah thanks so am i..... it happened 5 times as well :wack: apart from that the car didn't miss a beat and im really pleased that the guys that had the passenger rides had nothing but good words for it! including Sparkyhx the words he had will stay with me for a long while.

I do have a special mention to 'The Hall' for the passenger ride - he accelerated so fast he made my shoes fall off and then nearly have my nipple ring ripped out. Despite that, I was still giggling like a schoolgirl at the end of the run.

me, giblets, algie, ninja, famous monster, debbie and gem returned to the camping area to make foods (at about 6 in the morning) apologies to FullMetalGasket for waking you up buddy, no apologies to ken ;) :D

Jez came back and sat with us when he left you guys and we had a couple of very bizarre conversations... mainly regarding fanny related car accessories!

one of the best moments of the weekend or me was seeing jez (who i've never seen drunk before) running around at about half 5 saturday morning, with the sun rising quite nicely in the background, arms spread out kicking bottles and cans around on the floor. seriously like a complete childhood flashback that really made me chuckle :D

Thanks to all the organisers for a great event cant wait to the next one. learnt my car has way to much lag for a tight track like that soon to be sorted tho. Could of done it quicker if I drifted it, or had set the car up for grip, but definately think more response is needed.

My run with SparkyHX as passenger came to an abrupt halt as he went off at the second hairpin - the marshall radio chatter was revealing - it appears he hadn't endeared himself to them or the track owners :o

Yes the front wheels locked up and I touched just into the gravel, reversed out then went onto the grass so not to spray the track, and the marshal told me where to go. That was all I got told to calm down and that was it.
Mine certainly wasn't the worst 'off' or cause that much hold up But I am sorry for the hold up. I dint plan on eating gravel.

me, giblets, algie, ninja, famous monster, debbie and gem returned to the camping area to make foods (at about 6 in the morning) apologies to FullMetalGasket for waking you up buddy, no apologies to ken ;)

Jez came back and sat with us when he left you guys and we had a couple of very bizarre conversations... mainly regarding fanny related car accessories!

one of the best moments of the weekend or me was seeing jez (who i've never seen drunk before) running around at about half 5 saturday morning, with the sun rising quite nicely in the background, arms spread out kicking bottles and cans around on the floor. seriously like a complete childhood flashback that really made me chuckle

Can't believe how pished we were o late, I remember Giblets feeding me beer rock and roll stlyee from a can with a small hole in it, he kept shaking it up and giving me a golden (beer ;) ) shower! :D

Thanks to all the organisers for a great event cant wait to the next one. learnt my car has way to much lag for a tight track like that soon to be sorted tho. Could of done it quicker if I drifted it, or had set the car up for grip, but definately think more response is needed.

Yes the front wheels locked up and I touched just into the gravel, reversed out then went onto the grass so not to spray the track, and the marshal told me where to go. That was all I got told to calm down and that was it.
Mine certainly wasn't the worst 'off' or cause that much hold up But I am sorry for the hold up. I dint plan on eating gravel.not a problem fella :no:, it was just the marshall chatter on the radio that was interesting ;)

The worst off was a golf, I think. I stopped at the same place as your off and the marshall came over. There was then some wailing over the radio - couldn't tell if it was somebody hurt or hurting about their car :wack: - which prompted the marshall to walk away covering the radio up :o . I didn't find out who it was, I just hope they were OK :o

I saw you and jumped in for a ride. Then you got out of the drivers' seat, George got in. I nearly got out, but thought sod it. others have survived before.

Think my quickest was about 56 secs but i averaged around 58 which i was happy with. I really struggled to get to grips with it in the morning though :wack:

Yup agree with that I had to do the same out of necessity I don't think the extra power was helping just made me too quick into the corners without the ability to stop and mucked up the exit, very nearly made a mess of algies pants too for all the wrong reasons :wack:

53,54's consistently off the vids but the power for the camera didn't last long so I only got a few, need to get rear shocks that work throw away the s14 brakes replace the fooked traction control bushes ohh yea and learn to drive like I twoc'd it ( just follow ricey round )

lol charmin. you would save a few seconds just by using the revs more. you made about 5 very early 5k shifts when i was with you that you would have been fine not makin and staying in second, thats all time fry :)

Yeah but i got a lardy bus to shift off the line and on every run it felt like it was bogging down on the last corner

Also got to sort out the traditional skyline understeer and take an extra brave pill for the esses
