Meets are open to everyone :)

Pop down and meet a few other SXOC members and see some of there cars. The Welsh lot are a friendly bunch :nod:

Insurance wise you best bet would be to try a few of the specialist broker types.

A-plan
Sky Insurance
Adrain Flux etc.

Unfortunatly insurance prices vary from person to person, as everyones circumstances are different. Different job, parked in different locations, different levels of NCB's and driving experience etc.

So whilst one insurer may be cheap for one individual, for another they could be stupidly pricey.

Ring round, them all and see whats good for you.

£3k is a fairly decent budget :)

Mileage isnt as important as you think.

I would rather have a 100k+ example that has been looked after by someone on here, than a low mileage one that may not have been treated so nicely.

If you don't skimp on the servicing and use good parts they go on for ever :nod:

Yeh, got a bit of a phobia of 100k miles seriously, never had a car with over 95k because i really cant do 100k. theres nothing wrong with it but i really cant do it i dno i think its a illness :O

Thanks alot for the offer guys, and i will definitely be there my only day off that week so was quite lucky i popped in ere :P and im definitely getting 1 but i need to find decent insurance, debating whether to go NON-touring for the s14 then convertin the front if its possible, my cheapest quote at the moment for a 20 year old on the 200sx s14 touring is 1623 quid which isnt too bad but still a tad too much, id be happy with sorta 1200-1400.
Dno if ill get that tho, but im 21 in september so hopefully will drop, untill then ill drive my crappy little 5 round lol :P See you all there :D cnt wait and thanks for the offers of going in ur cars if that is possible, id love to see what they are capable of, but im going on the drift scene.

Hi Alex! just a little point,you say you may convert the front to touring! Thats not the difference!
All touring means is that you have a passenger airbag sideskirts and leather seats!
The difference you refer to is s14 and s14a (Pics below) in my opinion go for what you prefer,but if your buying an s14 to save money but want a 14a then the front ends are about £600-£700 plus the work and spraying,it'll be much easier to save the extra grand and buy the 14a in the first place!

To convert from s14 to "Bad Boy" :D 14a You need the following -
Bumper/bonnet/Lights/wings/Bumper bar,and the headlight connectors are different too,so not a very easy job! :thumbs:

If your considering an s14,cardiff scums has only 80ish on the clock and is very solid and low on rust (they all have some sadly)
And the front is the only bit that needs attention so perfect for a 14a swap when you get funds :thumbs:

Speaking of parking with nearly 20 coming, I think its an idea to look at the potential locations.

1. = the multi story, top floor sunny day is perfect :D

To be fair those tunnels are lethal in the wet :nod: the amount of crap that's on the road just makes it slippery as hell when you add water.
