Got my APEXi SAFC on Thursday after waitin 9 workin days for it to get here, got a call from my mum that it had arrive but that she had to pay £45 fookin import duty :mad: :cry:
They really are b3stards in this country, we'll be gettin taxed on oxygen soon :tosser:

Oh well I'll sell it for £300 on ebay :p only messin.
Booked into RC Developments on 28th to get it fitted, it's costin me about £90 which isn't too bad :rolleyes:
An I get my DVD player and screen fitted round about then too :D :thumbs:

£45 is about right I think.
6%(I think) duty on the goods plus VAT on the lot.:(
Well fook that, I won't be buyin anythin from abroad in future cos I refuse to give the govenment more fookin tax :mad:

Tell me about it. I have just won a strut brace on Ebay for £20. By the time the shipping/duty and VAT is added it comes to £75.:eek: (if I can sort out how to pay for it, see Ebay forum:()

I bought a sgbv from turbosmart £75 and the bast*rds charged me £25 duty. :tosser: :tosser:
we were charged £23 customs charges when we got our nur spec from japandy...... si (jackadoodledoo) was not happy as he had already waited 8 weeks for it to arrive and then had to wait an extra day as i didn't have any cash on me the day they called....:cry:
I thought JapAndy always sent stuff as a birthday present so you didn't have to pay tax? :eek:
