Weekender convoy

Whats the plan then? I cant leave till about 5 on the Friday or early Saturday morning.

I think the plan is 2 convoys, one on fri and one on sat. There should be threads appearing soon about it.

I'm going down on friday, hopefully quite early but that depends on the car been ready as i'm still sorting things out after llandow, the car had a hard time there! :wack:

I've been having a chat with Kiz regards to his convoy down there, I think it's a pretty sound idea to meet up with those guys (well, for those of us who're going down early-ish)...

Chris - I don't think anyone else is actually coming from Norwich :eek: you might be best off having a look which is the best route and going from there, I think most of us friday people are heading down early... Though it's feasible that you could hook up with the late guys from other areas, dependant upon your preferred route ofcourse...

I didn't realise the village had the carnival day on, and being the considerate locals that they are, they close the village off for a parade of tractors and what not... To say I was annoyed was an understatement!

Chaps, I need a bit of feedback with reference to a convoy on Friday. My proposal is to meet up with a couple of the other SXOC convoys, one at Towcester and the other at Oxford.

The choice people have is to either go straight to the Oxford services, or meet up at Thrapston and then Towster services. Meeting at Thrapston/Towcester and then going on to Oxford will make your journey from Cambridge approximately 30 minutes longer.

I'll chuck everyone who I think might be interested a pm about this tonight, I'm rapidly running out of time to write one now though! :wack:

Looks like i'd be best meeting you at towcester services, what time you thinking as there seems to be 2 groups meeting there at different times. Later would suit me better :)

I think the East Mids are meeting at 1pm can't remember the other group but i think they were meeting at 12pm at towcester.

11:30 -12:00 at towcester then heading for oxford to arrive around 1:30 :thumbs:

Ive got my own convoy going. Only one 200 in it though :wack:

We will be leaving Cambridge hopefully around 4-5ish, with any luck the missus in the Onevia, my man Mike in an M3 and me in the racing camper of justice. :eek:

We will probably only be able to do 80 as the camper gets hairy over this speed but anyone is welcome to join us - if you lads are going a bit later we can hook up with you too :thumbs:

Well, my personal convoy has reduced considerably, as we wont be able to get the Onevia fixed, and the M3 is going on Saturday :wack:
