In South Africa they have V-power, dont know the octane rating but the tv advert is the same advert we have with the fish being more responsive when you need it and zooming about.
Think they got it instead of optimax.

Its just the same as optimax according to this 98RON
SHELL V-POWER (http://www.shell.com/home/Framework?siteId=sg-en&FC1=&FC2=&FC4=&FC5=&FC3=/sg-en/html/iwgen/shell_for_motorists/fuels/vpower/faqvpower_01211900.html)
Think there might be another one called V-power racing which is 99 but less common, or it could be that in other parts of the world they can getaway with saying its 99octane whens its 98 point something which optimax is, I think.
Don't tha Japs have silly high octane petrol?

Bit off topic but I have a question
Does a higher RON fuel burn cleaner and release less pollutants?
Oh right, sorry as I didn't realise I was stating the obvious or I wouldn't have posted it :finger:
