I wouldn't ever wanna drive this daily, it's the sort of thing you'd see in a sci-fi movie... but my god they have put some work into it !!

Er, those photos don't look real, they look like CGI to me...

deffo not real, but I like the gauges, a full set of autometers would be cool. :) Not sure about the funny stalks though. :|

I'd certainly say real, and it's well kool  I don't go for 'ICE' cars, but that is art IMO :) And u've gotta give props to anything that's had that much time/ workmanship put into it..

Yep - it's definitely a real install. It was in one of the mags about 6 months ago.

Absolutely awesome :) Were do you start designing something like that?

Yip, I didn't think it was real. The lighting isn't quite right, the shading on some objects are too perfect. Infact (and this is really geeky) I can spot the Maya renders a mile off...

But from stuff i've found so far it's real.

And you know what, the thread we had a while back on that Honda advert with all the components hitting each other, I was 100% sure that was CG...

It's not, saw an article on 5th Gear and it's all real... well fook me. CG is getting so darn good I can't tell fake from real. How very scarey...

If you go to the alpine site theres about 300 pictures giving you a step-by-step of how it's done. If you coupled their skills with a bit of taste the results could be spectacular!

I don't care if it is CGI or not - I want it!!!!!!!!!

Alpine and C-West have done the same thing on a RSX. Amazing work.
