Would anyone, that has either dismantled an automatic S13 or has done the manual conversion, have the TCU going spare. I only need the sockets on the unit so it doesn't matter if it is scrap. Thanks.

what's the tcu look like bud and what does it do?

It is the electronic control unit for the transmission. Similar in looks to the engine control unit. I have a replacement TCU but the harness has the wrong plugs on it so need the sockets off of an old unit so that I can connect the new harness to the existing looms. No way am I going to replace all of the looms in the car.:wack:

The TCU has the part number 31036-44F05 stenciled on it, so if anyone can help there will be beer money in it.
