Fooking hell!! forgotten about those. I had some software, back in like 94 for making them. Buggered if I can remember the name of it though.

Their "official" name was "AutoStereograms" I believe :) try searching on that.

I could never see anything in em, then one day i was sat staring at one and my eyes began to go out of focus and hey-presto I could see it!

No problems since.:D

They just take practice. Theres two ways of looking at them. One is to go cross-eyed but this one hurts. The other is to go out of focus. It takes some practice. Try this

Put your nose against the screen and slowly pull your head away whilst keeping the focus of your eyes steady. You'll then find at a certain distance you'll be able to see the picture. The one Ant has posted is actually VERY hard to see so not really for beginners. Seach the web for some easier ones first :)

The really annoying thing is that once you get into it then you start doing it on other things too:rolleyes:

Anything with a repeat pattern will give an interesting effect...

Try wallpaper for example:rolleyes:
