I've been watching the various gameplay video clips posted up on Gamespot.

Unfortunately...

I watched some videos of a highly probably Game of the Year candidate just before..

The end result being the GT4 vid clips didn't hugely inspire me. Rally driving looks a lot more fun, almost as if they are wanting to compete with the Colin Mcrae / WRC style games.

The non-rally stuff also looks good, the cars have a more realistic look to them than GT3 (i.e. not massively shiny and better lit) and the huge variety in cars + courses should be sweet.

Not sure if I'll buy it yet though.

I wish they'd leave the rally bits to rally games.
