Prop length question

Does anyone know if the the prop from a s14a is the same length as the one on a 180sx? :confused:

or if they are different by how much?

i think the centre bearing is in a different position. so both halfs are different.
Which part do you need?

there may be a different gearbox with an alu prop coming out of an s14a that im planning on fitting....

just wondering if it will line up ok

I know for definite that the s15 uses a different prop to thte 180sx.
the centre bearing is bolted to the floor in a different place, the 180sx has it on the front half of the shaft, but the s15 has it on the back half.
There is 2 different length rear shafts fitted to the 180sx, ABS models have a shorter one, to accomadate the longer diff housing with ABS sensor.

In the pic, the top shaft is the front section of a 180sx, the bottom one is from a s15. The reason the flange looks bigger on the s15 shaft is because the 6 speed uses a different one to the 5 speed.
