Boost hoses and location

After fitting my new engine (redtop) the boost hoses that go from the plenum and to the turbo are different as my defi boost controller is reading 0 at idle and negative at 2k rpm. How do I rectify this or does anyone have a picture?

as far sx I'm aware the vac to control the boost should not read negative pressure at all. Just positive when on boost and 0 on idle
