Was tottering home in the Escort down the A13, get just past the Basildon exit going london bound and glance in my RVM to notice 2 cars rapidly approaching, the lead car flashing its lights. Me thinks, its the rozzers on some drugs bust so carry on at my respectable 70mph to have a E class Merc fly by at an estimated 120+ with a top spec 5 series hot on his trail (looked like a newish 535i/540i). Said Merc pulls over and they go at it side by side down the DC with the Bimmer just pulling ahead. they get about 200 yards ahead of me and start disappeering into the distance when i notice its getting foggy :confused: strange thats come down quick :confused: :confused: :confused:

Half a mile down the road i see Bimmer man traveling at 10mph with shit loads of grey smoke pouring from underneath the car :tosser:

Had to chuckle to myself as i sailed on by although it did bring back memories :o :(

Wonder how much a V8 BMW rebuild is :rolleyes:
