Whats included for the 175-200 GBP (iirc) price quoted for GT series rebuilds?

Hi,

Rebuilds consist of stripping, inspection and rebuilding the turbo with replacment service parts for example piston rings. In addition we clean all componenets within the turbocharger (blasting - washing) and check tolerances and re-balance the core assembly. The turbo will then be supplied with our warranty which is 12 months or 12,000 miles.

OK thanks - What kind of symptoms would this rebuild fix?
If there is excessive play in the turbo, but blades NOT touching housings?
Smokey?
Noisey?

Hi,

It all depends on the condition of the unit but potentially a rebuild could solve all problems, or we could find that the unit is beyond repair. We would need to see the unit in a stripped condtion and then we can tell you what's achievable.
