Just on the way to meet my parents to pick up all the camping gear from le mans......

pop......bang.....tinkle tinkle tinkle....faaaaaarrrrrrttttttttt, pull over.

The turbo has become detached from the manifold. 2 studs are missing, one has sheared off inside the manifold flange and one is still there but seems to have no nut.

Had to get towed back and went to the only local garage i know where they can get the stuf out as i dont havew any gear as im at my uni house. He said it could cost £200+ to get it all off take the stud out and put it back together.

i mean reall, for ****s sake, im probably getting shafted but have no choice in the matter. all i can hope is that it is repaired by end of the day wednesday.

**** it.

There must be some people off the club that can help you out. Stick a post up in your area.

This happen to Dan last year while he was on his way to Le Mans. That's when him and a few of the boys invented the turbo bra:wack:

Here give turbo dynamics a call 01202 487497 i got a gasket set and studs for about £25, the only pain you will have is getting the snapped stud out.

The rest is just a few hours work

The hard bit is getting the snapped stud out
