View Full Version : enter hks drag series or pro-street drag series?
been thinking about entering one next year as i have the bug. which one is best? which one has the most competitors? i dont want to turn up and be one of 5 in my class.
HKS i think is invitation only and there are a lot of rules and regulations to adhere to but it is a more high profile series,
Prostreet is more relaxed etc...
There are some people doing both, both series have forums you might want to look at or sign up to,

ive read right through the hks-series rules and it doesnt say anything like that
are you doing pro street next year?
Ok, maybe 'invitation only' is too strong a word but your entry would need to be accepted, you can't just sign up and enter :D
We will do pro-street again next year (and maybe HKS if we can improve the car),
P.S. If you want to do HKS i'm pretty sure you will need to be using a Nissan engine.

yeah i did read that. 3l and under too. ive decided to keep the rb30 now anyway.
after reading through them both i think pro street is where to start as you need a proven car for hks.
Round 3 this weekend, why not come and have a few runs :D
My cousin competed in HKS last year - Ill tap him up and find out what the deal is. I do know that we are talking mega powers though - he has about 600hp in his Civic
well my one is going to be over 700hp plus nitrous at the end of the year.
cant do this weekend but doing jap rwyb next weekend.
im really into it now.

That sounds adequate, to say the least :D
Try contacting both to see what the crack is - see you at Satan Pod :D
