Doesn't this just look superb ? Half life 2 is gonna be the nuts... and it arrives JUST when the doctor tells me not to use my computer in the evenings due to pains in my right arm... :(

Nah Mate its not games that cause problems in your right arm when you are using your computer on the net... ;)
Looking good! Also downloaded a clip of Doom 3 running... it looks amazing but think it will be a major burden on almost ANY PC Out there...

Begone Dave, thou art no longer welcome here :D
The developers are saying it'll run OK on a 700Mhz processor/128 MB ram and a 16 meg card. So for those of us with machines around 2 years old, we'll be laughing :) It will rule.
Another game that looks like it'll rock is Chaser, an FPS with stupidly good graphics, of the style and (higher) quality seen in Splinter Cell.

Get yourself over to www.hardocp.com and check out the Nvidia GeForce FX 5900 benchmarks. Doom 3 runs -smooth- .... :D

No need:
Between CS: Condition Zero and Team Fortress 2 (rumoured to come out pretty soon after HL2 if it's not packaged as it's multiplayer) you won't be missing original CS
