Anyone got a van I can scrounge for a few hours next week. Need to move an engine

Well, my Cefiro is still off the road awaiting a new windscreen, and having had the head gasket replaced on the Volvo, the head itself has decided to go pop now.

So I've just agreed to buy a new Volvo B200 engine from the scrap yard next to Spares World in Aberbargoed. I think it's Aberbargoed anyway. They're going to supply it on a pallet

Only problem now is getting it to Blackwood where my mate is going to fit it for me. Anyone fancy lending me a van in exchange for a few beer tokens?

I've got a van but I can't lend it out but if you get the pallet dropped outside just before closing time I can be there any weekday evening about 6 ish :thumbs:

Awesome. You free tomorrow. All I need to do is get it from there to my house and dump it in my back garden, a mate of mine is going to help fit it later that week.

Problem is he's the one with the engine hoist, unless you have one too I may be stuffed for getting it in and out of the van.

Nevermind. I've just had a job come in for Wednesday meaning I need to leave at 5 or 6. Going to have to hire a van for a few hours and move the engine in the daytime.

Anyone know a place that'll do that cheap?

Well it turns out they didn't have the engine today because someone called in sick, so they've agreed to drop it off themselves at my place tomorrow as an apology.
