I know low no's are good on the track,but i'm over the fence and have to do my bit for the club finances! :D
thats why i suggested opening it up to NM's to become M's by paying £95 for the day ? :D ;)

There were plenty of members that wanted to come to this, as soon as money is mentioned they all drop out!
Hope that something is done about this as its getting ridiculous now, it is going on with the bloody weekender too :(

Yep, should have a 50% deposit before your name goes down.
Bunch if cheapskate lightweights. :p (unless of course you double book with something as important as the Ashes, of course).

Yup im all in for that :nod: im sure in extreme circumstances the deposit can be refunded, but i have seen people on many occasions selling passes/tickets on the site.
I have bought from members on here after leaving things too late etc etc.
If you are not sure you can make a show leave it until you know you can i say.

Open it to drifting and it would be full. It's easy to keep the different 'disciplines' seperate.
Lastly, a few people besides me had their name down initially because it wasn't clear drifting wasn't aloud, and they had to pull out when this was clarified. The scooby day going on around the same time are actively asking us to come to add more variety to their day.

To be fair they have advertised it as a track day not a drift day.
I for one would not be happy having drifters in the pack with me as accidents happen all the more with the drifting as you found out recently Jo.

Never said it wasn't bare back bull riding either, thought it was pretty clear it was a track day, Can I assume from that your not coming then:(?
I love watching drifting as much as the next guy! but this is a trackday,always has been! keeping on about it won't change things,yes its a shame we haven't got the no's but eh ho thats that!
When you say they can be mixed Madda,do you mean that drifting could be the first 20 mins of every hour or something like that :confused: :thumbs:
i spend atleast 7days a month at llandow most are on club track days.
i.e skyline owners day
subaru owners
as well as test days for myself.
at 99% of the track day we areall ut on track at the same time
all that john (safty marshel) at llandow asks is respect others.
dont drift in middle of a pack of track cars,
slow down on the side of the straight till clear behind you.
Paul, I'm not "keeping on about it" mate, it's just an obvious solution to a day which is evidently under subscribed.
Gav, I will probably pop up to give you the strut brace, as for driving, I really don't think I will enjoy fighting what is now natural to me, plus I don't wanna risk pissing off the club if I lack the discipline to keep it straight for every corner all day. Kinda gutted really cos a day with you guys is as much about the socialising, but I will get upset if I hang around for long not being able to drive.:(

Was good fun!! Made the mistake of disapearing after lunch to go out for a spin on the bike . . . had some issues with an uprated brake lever which spoilt the rest of my day.
Just got back from the 'Run for the Hills' spin - must say I love my Fabia even more than I used to, sticking with a pack of bikes, over taking bikes and then arriving at stop off points several minutes before anyone else!! lol.
Fantastic weekend, a huge thank you to every one who made this possible. Enjoyed every minute of it! The weather was perfect, the track was great, the car ran perfect for once and the company was outstanding:thumbs:
The run for the hills was a little bit interesting with little and then no back brake but can't wait for the next one.:sxoc:
Big THANKS to all that came,was good to put more names to faces!:nod: (But don't expect me to remember them by the weekender :wack:)
Really gutting for everyone that had issues with cars in the week prior to this :cry:
Thanks again to GAV,who done 99% of the work for this,the hours he put in before and after were astounding!
