Little piccy of my old Corrola GTi.

I sold it about 4 years ago to a girl I know, she then PX'd it againt the 306 GTi - 6 she has now, and I saw the car last at a cruise in Warrington late last year.

I gets a phone call from the Girl i sold it to on Saturday, and she had spotted it in a local scrap yard - funny how its ended up back here.

It was my 2nd car, and my first car with a bit of power (1st car was a 1.1 Fiesta :( ) - I loved this car :(

Lol, another one of my old cars :D ??

Cant make out the reg, though it looks different :confused: from what I can make out.

Other give aways are clear front indicators, the AA tax disk holder, and maybe the wheels? but they are a little tricky to make out. Also, the spoiler has been replaced with something a little more subtile, as has the engine ;)

As you say, it's your old S13, with a Rover 220 GTi spoiler, and a more subtle engine, yes. The guy's put a private plate on it - I think he's a bit of a poser :rolleyes:

Has it still got the hidious, fake, wooden dash?

Still, at least it doesnt look like the Corolla :)

Nope, it's now colour coded red, as is most of the engine bay. It's got silver cam covers and a red spark plug cover. Looks quite tasteful actually :)

My old man was out at a Triumph meet the other day (he's got a 73 spitfire). Hes sitting there, munching on a sarnie when he noticed a 13/60 Herald convertable ambling past. :)
Lovely he thinks - its even navy blue, the same colour as mine ............ then clocks the reg number. Cue old man jumping out of spitfire and running up the road after this herald - it was his old car. He hadnt seen it for 26 years! :eek: :D
Thing was, it was in exactly the same condition as when he had sold it - mint :)
