Barring work getting in the way, I'll be there. I'm going to try and get the new rear brakes fitted, along with the Tomei manifold as well, so should be in full "show off" mode :D

Got the email, thanks for the invite, but its a 1.5 hour drive for me. If it was Sunday arvo thing I would enjoy the drive up, but not a weekday afternoon drive.

To be honest mate, you seem to have sent the pm out to everyone, which is a little excessive, just the home counties members would've done! :wack:

As usual, I shall be there, remains to seen whether I will be in the 13 though, I mean it attending two meets in a row might be too much :rolleyes:

Due to never actually going (admitedly my S13 has been off the road most of the time since I moved back here), I feel guilty so I will make an appearance!

Will be good to meet some fellow S-Body drivers, and have a few cold ones :D

No S13 this time though, next time definetely!

Well, I'll definitely be there with my new fanimold :cool: . Rear brakes are on hold whilst I wait for pads to turn up (Dan @ DB Power is on hols :( ).

Only took 8 hours :wack: .

Had 1 seized nut on the manifold which brought the stud out with it but took ages to come out. 2 other manifold nuts started rounding and I had to use a metrinch spanner. Once it was all out I then found that I had no way of removing the manifold-turbo studs from the old manifold, so had to drive into Cambridge to get a set of stud removers :o. Then discovered that the new turbo elbow wouldn't fit - 2 of the holes were slightly mis-drilled so I had to file them out. After doing that I discovered that one of the elbow studs was too long so I had to cut that down and I had no decent blades to do it - took nearly an hour and about 3 pints of sweat :wack: . I will say, though, that it is a lot easier to get the nuts on and off the new Tomei manifold than the standard jobbie :nod:

I say it everytime I do a job like this but why oh why oh why do I put myself through it :annoyed: :annoyed: :annoyed: :wack: :D

Doesn't look like I'm going to make this chaps!

I solved the original problem with the pop-ups not going down and the dash lights not coming on, but now I seem to be blowing the 10amp fuse which controls the sidelights and the dash lights! :rolleyes:
I've replaced the fuse just now and it's blown it again straight away (I actually heard it go this time)... Since I'm a complete numpty when it comes to electrics, I've got no idea where to start with finding the problem, so I've posted up in S13 tech! :(

Atleast I won't have to take the dash out to get to anythng! :wack:

EDIT : Good turn out folks. Good to see a couple of new faces tonight :thumbs: . Discovered on the way home that I definitely still have a boost leak between the intercooler exit and plenum, so that gives me something to do this weekend :wack:

EDIT : Don't forget to stick a thread up in "Wanted" for a T28 turbo :thumbs: . There's a low-use 2871 going for sale for £500, but you'd need another £500+ of extras to make it fit :wack:

lol, no I am a sales manager for a Google Marketing company...

I will get a request up once i manage to sell the other prelude and have some funds. Should be getting the old one off this weekend, so hopefully determine the cause and address some of the other issues while its off the road.
