Watched a repeat of 5th gear today and VBH was reviewing the Max Power scene.

Namely Saxo drivers, but she was gobsmacked when one of the t0ssers announced that he had spent 35K modding one and another had spent over 20k and it still had a std 1.1 under the hood.

Even VBH said "Why, for that price you could have bought a Boxter."

the sad thing is his £35k Saxo will only be worth £2-3k

if he had bought a Boxster it would still be worth £20-25k

I laugh at these muppets!!!;)

he could have got a used boxster and spent the 10k in change on tuning it up if he wanted to be different! ah well. maybe he just can't handle a proper (read RWD) car.

Each to their own and all that. We must not judge others, just because they hold a different set of values to ourselves.

Nah, fcuk that :D

At least with the weight of that body kit and all the other shit put on the 1.1 it won't be quite such bouncy scrabbly as it was.

Front wheell drive conversion for a 200SX anyone :D :tosser:

£35k? on a Saxo? Bloody hell, I could think of a better way to spend £35k. An R33 GTR and shit loads of mods springs to mind quite readily :D
